2nd Alarm House Fire
 
On Janurary 14th Engine 431 with units from the 1st and 3rd Battalion were dispatched to the 3100 block of Mary Etta Lane for reports of a house on fire. E431 and E421 both arrived at the same time to find a 6,000 Sq foot single family dewelling well involved. The picture below was taken as E431 arrived on the scene.

A Busy New Year's Eve For The Little Big House
 
After the ball dropped the tones followed with the 1st call of the year.  Engine and Ambulance 431 were dispatched to Glade Drive for a report of a person stabbed. Members from 31 quickly started treating the victum as Engine 25 set up a landing zone for the medivac. The Little Big House handled 8 calls between midnight and 7am.

2 Alarm House Fire
 
On December 7th E431 with units from the 1st and 2nd Battalions were dispatched to the 900 block of Jaysmith Street for numerous calls reporting a house on fire."Note normally E431 would not be due on this box alarm, but due to training being held down the street from the dispatched address they were added to the alarm and arrived 2nd in". E412 marked on the scene with heavy fire showing from side C and the roof. E412,E431, and TL436 tried to make a stop on the fire ,but due to the large amount of fire in the attic were ordered to evacuate. When all members were outside the structure, Tower ladder 436 opened up their masterstreams and put a quick knock on the fire. Members from Engines 412, and 431 went back in to mop up and to finish it off. Units on the scene were E412,E431,E436,E439,E425,E404,E429,E413,TL436,T425,T429,R439,A431,
A412,A436,M439,EMS401,EMS402,BC401,BC402,SAF401,OPS406, and DCFO

Townhouse Fire
 
On December 3rd E431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 11500 block of Ivy Bush Court for a report of a townhouse on fire. E431 marked on the scene with fire showing from side C of the 2 story townhouse. Units on the scene were E431,E439,E404,E436,T425,TL436,R439,M425,EMS401,EMS403,BC401,
BC403,SAF401, and DCFO.

2 Alarm Building Fire
 
On December 1st E431 with units from the 1st and 2nd Battalions were dispatched to the 1500 block of Summerchase Court for reports of a fire on the second floor. Engine 439 marked on the scene with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a 3 story condo building. Units quickly discovered that they had extension into the 3rd floor and attic and the 2nd alarm was transmitted. Units on the scene were E439,E425,E404,E431,E618,E412,E429,T425,TL436,T429,
R439,M439,M425,LA436,
EMS401,EMS402,BC401,BC403,BC433,SAF401,

Head on Crash
 
On November 7th Engine and Ambulance 431 were dispatched down the street from the station to the intersections of Reston Parkway and Glade Drive for a report of a head on collision with one trapped. E431 marked on the scene with a good location and that they had no one trapped. Units on the scene were E431,R439,A431,M425, EMS401, and BC403.

Building Fire
 
On October 29th Engine 431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 11900 block of Democracy Drive for a report of a fire in the clothing store bathroom.  E425 marked on the scene with heavy black smoke pouring out of side charle. Quick work was made and the fire was contained to the mens bathroom. Units on the scene were E425,E431,E404,E439,T425,TL436,R439,M404,
EMS401, and BC401

House Fire
 
On October 17th Engine 431 with units from the 1st and 2nd Battalions were dispatched to the 10200 block of Lawyers road for a report of a house on fire. E402 marked on the scene with a large 2 story single family with smoke showing. Units on the scene were E402,E430,E425,E434,E431,E439,T425,TL430,RE433,A434,M439,LA436,
EMS401,EMS402,BC401, and BC402

1st Due Apartment Fire
 
On October 14th Engine and Ambulance 431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 2000 block of Royal Fern Court for reports of a house on fire. As units were responding dispatch advised that they were getting mutiple calls and that it was going to be upgraded to an apartment fire. E431 marked on the scene with smoke showing from the 3rd floor of a three story garden apartment. Quick work by E431 and T425 contained the fire to the one apartment. Units on the scene were E431,E425,E404,E439,T425,TL436,R439,A431,M425,LA436,EMS401,EMS403,
BC401,BC402, and DFCO.

Overturned Vehicle
 
On October 4th Engine and Ambulance 431 were dispatched to the intersections of Reston Parkway and Glade Drive for a report of a vehicle that had rolled over with the driver still inside. E431 marked on the scene with a good location and with one vehicle on its roof. Units on the scene were E431,R439,A431,M404,EMS401,
 and BC401

Grenade At The Firehouse
 
On September 28th personal from the The Little Big House were out back at the station cleaning up getting ready for the up and coming open house weekend. Then right about 4pm a citizen stop by and asked if we can help dispose of a grenade that was in her car. The Captain stated to her to leave the grenade in the car and come in the station were he made a couple of phone calls. Units on the scene were E431,A431,EMS401,BC401, and Fairfax County Bomb Squad.

School Bus Goes Off The Road
 
On September 19th A431 with units from Station 21 were dispatched to West bound Route 50 for reports of a bus that ran off the road. Engine and Rescue 421 marked on the scene with a School bus off the road into several trees and landing on a HOA sign. No Students were on the bus and the driver was transported to the hosptial. Units on the scene were E421,R421,M421,A431,EMS403, and BC403

Rear End Auto Accident
 
On September 18th Engine 431 and Medic 439 were dispatched to the intersection of Foxmill Road and Fairfax County Parkway for report of an MVA. E431 marked on the scene with a rear end crash involving one car being smashed into the back of a county school bus. E431 requested the rescue company for one trapped in the front seat and additional EMS units for a total of 3 patients and a Medivac. Units on the scene were E431,E425,R439,M439,M425,EMS401,BC401, and FFX1.

Vehicle Over Turned
 
On September 5th Engine and Ambulance 431 were dispatched to the rear of 2231 Colts Neck Road for a report of a single car MVA. E431 marked on the scene with one vehicle rolled over on its roof, down a 25 ft. embankment. Units on the scene were E431,R439,M425,A431, and EMS401

Apartment Fire
 
On September 4th E431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 2200 block of Castle Rock Sq. for report of an apartment on fire. Truck 425 marked on the scene with smoking showing from the apartment. Units quickly located the fire in the dryer with minor extention. Units on the scene were E425,E431,E439,E436,T425,TL436,R439,M425,
EMS401, and BC401

MVA Report of One Trapped
 
On August 25th Engine and Ambulance 431 were dispatched to Fairfax County Parkway and Foxmill Road for a MVA with one person trapped. E431 marked on the scene with one vehicle off the road into trees and brush. R439 used chainsaws to cut down and remove small trees and brush to gain access to the patient. Units on the scene were E431,R439,A431,M425,BC403,
 and EMS401

Basement Fire
 
On August 22nd E431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 800 block of Monroe Street for reports of a basement fire. E404 marked on the scene with a two story single family dwelling, smoking showing from side "A" and active fire in the basement. Units on the scene were E404,E425,E431,E611,TL436,T425,R439,M404,EMS401, and BC401
 

Fire On The Balcony
 
On August 12th E431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 2300 block of Rolling Fork Circle for a report of fire on the balcony. E436 marked on the scene with smoking showing from the 4th floor balcony on side "C". Note fire was confined to the balcony do to sprinklers. Units on the scene were E436,E404,E431,E425,TL436,T425,R439,
EMS401, and BC401

Apartment Fire
 
On August 7th E431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to the 600 block of Dulles Park Ct. for reports of fire in apartment #101. E404 marked on the scene with fire showing from the 2nd floor. Units on the scene were E404,E436,E431,E425,TL436,T425,R439,M404,
EMS401, and BC401

Large RV Fire
 
On July 25th A431 with units from the 1st Battalion were dispatched to 1400 block of Lake Fairfax Drive for a report of an RV on fire.  Ambulance 431 right down the street from the fire marked on the scene first, reporting a large RV camper well involved. Units on the scene were E439,E425,E412,T425,K412,A431, and BC401.
